Learned piano professor Mark Prendergast has had to defer his selection of great piano jazz recordings, titled 'La Belle Époque' featuring music from Gershwin and Cole Porter amongst others, until later in the year at a date to be confirmed. Check back for details.

Meanwhile, as usual,  we will have a great programme of recorded music for our next meeting in May. More details available soon.

Our June meeting will be on Wednesday rather than our usual Tuesday, with live music (see below).

Meetings are usually on the last Tuesday of the month, apart from June 2022, where we have live music on Wednesday 29th and the AGM and Christmas Social in December which will be at the earlier date of December 20th,
We look forward to welcoming all present members and new visitors, to enjoy of a wide range of jazz based on members’ informed presentations, an extensive Library of CDs, DVDs and books, and new initiatives to offer a varied, stimulating and enjoyable programme. The Garden City Brewery, Letchworth provides comfortable, sociable surroundings, plentiful adjacent car-parking (free after 6.00 pm.), and a management who are keen to support us. We have exclusive access to the premises on Tuesdays, usually without other customers.The drinks on offer at the GCB are remarkably good, with excellent cask ales, some brewed on the premises, a choice of fine real cider and perry, both local and national, and a good wine list. Soft drinks and hot beverages are also available.
